By BallHyped Staff · Published 2012-06-01 NBA June 21, 2012 LeBron James won his first title Thursday. I was going to write tonight’s post about the Miami Heat winning the 2012 NBA championship, but that’s so yesterday (it’s technically Friday on the East Coast). And we live in 2012, where all the Twitter/media/blogosphere care about is what and who’s next. We no longer hop on the bandwagon, we hop on the pre-bandwagon, trying to be the first Twitterer to “report” the next big thing. So we here at BallHyped.net wanted to report on, not who won this year’s title, but who’s going to win next year’s title. And thanks to pregame.com, we have some backup data. By 12:30 a.m. Friday, Pregame.com had already spammed hundreds of media sites like us with their 2012-13 NBA Future Championship Odds. And guess who they have winning it all in lucky 2013? You guessed it, the Miami Heat at 3-1 odds (the same as the Oklahoma City Thunder, oddly enough). The team least likely to win it all? Who woulda guessed … the Charlotte Bobcats. In fact, these odds look a lot like the final season standings, but who are we to disagree with the numbers. So let us be the first to congratulate the Miami Heat on their NBA Championship. The 2013 NBA Title that is. 2013 NBA Championship Odds (according to Pregame.com) Miami Heat 3 to 1 OKC Thunder 3 to 1 Chicago Bulls 5 to 1 San Antonio Spurs 7 to 1 Los Angeles Lakers 12 to 1 Dallas Mavericks 15 to 1 Boston Celtics 20 to 1 Indiana Pacers 20 to 1 Los Angeles Clippers 30 to 1 Denver Nuggets 35 to 1 Memphis Grizzlies 35 to 1 Orlando Magic 40 to 1 Atlanta Hawks 60 to 1 New York Knicks 60 to 1 Philadelphia 76ers 60 to 1 Houston Rockets 80 to 1 Milwaukee Bucks 100 to 1 Minnesota T-Wolves 100 to 1 New Jersey Nets 100 to 1 Phoenix Suns 100 to 1 Portland Blazers 100 to 1 Utah Jazz 100 to 1 Washington Wizards 100 to 1 Cleveland Cavaliers 120 to 1 New Orleans Hornets 120 to 1 Sacramento Kings 120 to 1 Toronto Raptors 120 to 1 Detroit Pistons 130 to 1 GS Warriors 130 to 1 Charlotte Bobcats 150 to 1 About BallHyped [Back to NBA](https://ballhyped.net/category/nba/) NBA more reports ### [Linhumanity](https://ballhyped.net/2014/11/linhumanity-in-l-a/) If it was called “Linsanity” when Jeremy Lin helped lead a winning turnaround with the New York Knicks in 2012,… NBA By BallHyped Staff · November 12, 2014 ### [Durant: Nike shoes re-signs KD](https://ballhyped.net/2014/09/durant-nike-shoes-re-signs-kd/) Kevin Durant will continue wearing Nike shoes, having signed a deal reportedly worth more than $265 million over… NBA By BallHyped Staff · September 3, 2014 ### [Kevin Durant Isn’t Coming Up Short, We Are.](https://ballhyped.net/2013/05/we-must-cut-kevin-durant-some-slack/) It’s time for everyone to cut the crap.
