NHL lockout confirmed

Breaking news, well not really because most fans were just waiting for this to be announced. The current NHL CBA has expired and no agreement has been reached.

The Owner’s and the players association both did not even meet today which spelled trouble for the league. The reason why was because both parties are still digesting proposals and need some more time before making the next move.

As of right now this means no training camp or pre-season games scheduling until a agreement can be met. Hopefully this wraps up soon. But don’t count on it. Cross your fingers hockey fans, we’ll be updating any news information that is announced regarding negotiations as it occurs.

This is a sad day for hockey fans. So be prepared to try to follow the minor leagues. Or switch to another sport in the meantime.
